QPR midfielder Joey Barton has revealed he was on the receiving end of a death threat during his season-long loan at Marseille in 2012-13.

The Englishman, 32, has created headlines throughout his career, including for serving a prison sentence in 2008 for common assault and affray.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has highlighted David Silva s importance at the Etihad Stadium and likened the Spain international to Andres Iniesta and Xavi.

Andre Onana is a transfer target for Barcelona, according to the Ajax goalkeeper s agent.

Cristian Tello will leave Barcelona to join Real Betis in a €5million transfer after agreeing a five-year deal in Andalusia.

Barca and Betis have both confirmed the deal is done, with only a medical and formal signing of the contract left to complete before the 25-year-old is presented at his new club.
